| The Healthy California Now coalition has endorsed AB 1400 and ACA 11 — two bills that would guarantee health care for every person in our state.These bills would create — and pay for — a CalCare system that would end premiums, copays, and out-of-pocket expenses for all.(1) As the Los Angeles Times put it, it would “be a life-changer for practically every Californian.”(2) The multibillion-dollar insurance industry is already trying to kill CalCare, and if we have any hope of finally seeing single-payer health care in California, we need to raise as many voices as possible in its favor.
