Activists deliver 300,000+ petition signatures to Leader Pelosi’s San Francisco office in support of a Clean Dream Act

San Francisco, CA – On Monday, October 16 at 11:45 a.m., CREDO, ACLU of California, Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus, California Immigrant Youth Justice Alliance, Courage Campaign, Daily Kos, Democracy for America and Movimiento Cosecha will deliver more than 304,000 petition signatures to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco office (D-CA) calling on all Democrats to advance protections for immigrant youth without putting other immigrants in danger. The groups will urge her to continue to hold the line, lead her caucus in standing up for immigrants with no compromise and no strings attached, and do everything in her power to pass a clean Dream Act.
